Artificial intelligence can mimic like humans and animals, these computers can learn from humans to solve problems. AI successfully recognizing human speech and adapted to automated cars and many critical medical and military simulations.

Artificial intelligence is included in the academic courses for years to improve the research and approaches for success in the future.

AI research includes various goals like reasoning, problem-solving, planning, and natural processing of languages. Some approaches are artificial neural networks and methods based on statistics, mathematics, and so on.

Some groups of peoples believe AI to be a danger to humanity and may create unemployment.

However smart devices perform multitasking but it requires human knowledge and intelligence to learn from it.

TYPES OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE:

Type-1 further classified into

• Narrow AI
• General Al
• Strong AI

Type-2 further classified into

• Reactive Machines
• Limited memory
• Theory of mind
• Self Awareness

Type-1 (Capabilities)

Narrow AI:- Can performs only a specified task that is trained already and cannot go beyond a limit. Apple Siri is an example of Narrow AI. Some more Examples like playing chess, voice recognition, image recognition. This AI is also known as Weak AI.

General AI:- Can perform more intelligent tasks like humans, but as of now, there is no such smart devices exist. Many researcher are working on general AI.

Super AI:- Intelligence can overtake humans intelligence and work better than humans.

This includes the ability of thinking, planning, judgment, and many more.

 

Type-2(Functionality)

Reactive Machines:- Works with basic Artificial intelligence. They do not keep a record of memories and experience and only focus on current activities.

Limited Memory:- Record Some of the experience for a short period. Best example of such kind is

Self Driving cars record for their navigation.

Theory of Mind:- This kind of AI machines can understand human emotions. No such machines exits.

Self-Awareness:- The AI machines will be more conscious and self-aware.

Some basic approaches made on AI machines are Cybernetics and Brain Simulation, symbolic Intelligence, statistical learning, etc.

Applications of AI

Agriculture:- Analysis of the weather and gives correct information to farmers to grow crops. Soil Monitoring system, management system. This could increase the production of crops without loss.

Aviation:- AI gives an expert system for simulation training, mission management, support system for pilot and provide efficient training for warfare pilot.

Computer Science:- Can solve the most complicated mathematical and computer logical problems

Deepfake:- visually faking human face with other faces, these are done by capturing the expression of the required face to be faked.

Education:- AI systems can provide additional help and guidance to students in facing the exams and also to reduce stress in students. This system can also help students in clarifying doubts.

Finance:- Built an algorithm that can predict the future statics of the financial status. This can be achieved by analyzing and understanding the past financial and marketing strategies.

Industries:- Many large scale industries are moving to robotic production and manufacturing system for repetitive works and more hazardous processes.

Medical:- AI system that can predict the health problems with the symptoms of the problem. This system is already embedded in the smartwatches which can alert heart attack and blood pressure.

AI is also taken as the supporting system in the more critical operations and surgeries.

Online marketing:- most of the online customer care units are maintained by artificial intelligence, where humans are omitted. These processes are done by the chat bots.

• Higher reliability 

Jobs: Replacement of humans

Due to the drastic change in artificial intelligence in the market, humans are overruled in the job opportunities. which creates unemployment.

In the recent scenario, most companies prefer automation and robots in the production line. No need to pay for the robots. The robots do repetitive work, which the human get tired off.

On the whole, if artificial Intelligence and devices become over smart humans will be slaves to robots.

Then robots will rule the world, too much intelligence is too dangerous!!.
