In Avengers Infinity War the suit of Iron Man and Black Panther were made of nanotechnology.

These suits are made up of Nanobots or Nano sized robots. Many of you may think that it is an illusion but it is certainly not.

These are tiny bots that can autonomously operate in devices. Iron man’s suit and Black panther’s suit can be a CGI in the movie but nano-tech is more advanced than what we presently see. The technology that he is using the movie is the Nanobot replication.

Replication of Nanobots

The Nanobots can assembly themselves by coordinating with the other bots in a sort

of design.

They are replicating themselves. This is a huge advantage of nanotechnology of replicating themselves.

The effort of replicating requires a huge energy and the energy is obtained from the Arc reactor of the Iron Man.

This replicates in the form of 2x2 = 4, 4x2=8, 8x2=16,16x2=32, 32x2 = 64, 64x2=128, …..512x2=1024, 1024x2=2048. This may take a few minutes to replicate.which crawl on the body to complete.

Every bot in the swarm participate in achieving the goal.

The Nanobots require a certain amount of memory on design to store the steps to carry out.

Weakness of the Nanobots

If one Nanobot in the swarm malfunction the coordination between the nanobots could collapse and the suit may get destroyed.

If the material in the suit runs out of stock , no more bots can be formed.

Rebuilding of suit after attack

The nanobot programming removes the damaged nanobot and replace the place with a new bots by replicating the bots. The bots consume the material and built the suit.
